Ai & Dax allow their artwork to be used in a variety of ways, but please keep in mind that the usage guidelines found on this page must be followed precisely. If you have seen misuse of Ai & Dax's art, please drop us a line through our Contact Form, we appreciate and are grateful for your concern. Most people in violation might not be doing so purposefully, but they should be made aware of copyright infringement and our guidelines. Unauthorized reproduction of Ai & Dax's art is not tolerated.

First and foremost, commercial use of Ai & Dax's art is prohibited without a prior agreement and contract. If you want to pass a proposal our way, you may do so via our Contact Form.




Fans of Ai & Dax's artwork are welcome to include and display our artwork on their own personal, non-commercial website so long as the image is CLEARLY labelled as Copyright Ai & Dax, is not drastically altered in any way, and we are given proper credit on the site.

'Proper credit' means that there must be a written credit, "Artwork © Ai & Dax", and a link back to our home page ( www.ai-dax.com ) on each page that an image is used. Kindly note that a link on a separate links page is not sufficient by our guidelines.

The reason we ask that copyright information be embedded on our images is because though you have read through our guidelines, there is a possibilitly that anyone who visits your site and sees our art may like the art and decide to copy it for their own use without ever seeing our rules.

To properly label our artwork for inclusion on your site take the image into a photo editing program and add a line at the bottom or up the side of the image that says, "© Ai & Dax". The text doesn't need to be HUGE, but it must be clear and legible and it must be over the image itself, not below or off to the side so that another individual may not simply crop the copyright information off the piece.

As long as our rules are followed, Ai & Dax also have no problems with people using our art for signatures, avatars, banners, web sets or any other non-profit 'for fun' graphic.

For signatures, banners, and avatars, we ask that in addition to properly labelling our artwork, you place a visible, clickable link underneath it that leads back to our home page ( www.ai-dax.com ). Each time that signature or avatar is posted somewhere, it MUST have the name credit and link visible.

For web sets, we ask that in addition to proper labelling, each set have our link and name credit visible on every page the image appears on, and that they not be used for sites that are commercial in nature. Additionally, Ai & Dax do not allow you to charge for sets made with our art.

While available in the past, we currently ask that you please not 'tube' our art. Sadly, severe distortion of Ai & Dax's images and the possibility of wide spread distribution without copyright credit.



Ai & Dax allow their artwork to be used for personal tattoos, however, tattoo artists are not allowed to commercially offer our images as tattoos without a prior agreement and contract. If you do get one of our images tattoed on you, please keep in mind that the art is copyrighted and may not again be offered to another client beyond your use.

Anyone found violating the above rules will be asked to stop. We don't want to be mean, and we give offenders the benefit of the doubt, but if the violation continues after contacting the individual, Ai & Dax will pursue any means necessary (up to and including Litigation) to protect their copyright and intellectual property.
